- March, 2022: second competition, white belt, gold medal
- June 28, 2023: awarded grey belt
- July 7, 2023: competition practice; tells coach she wants a silver medal to complete her collection
- July 8, 2023: silver medal; Sophia has been a grey belt for two weeks; her opponent, a full year;
