64th Annual Oksol Reunion -- Summer, 2018

June 15, 2018: through the grapevine I've heard the 64th annual Oksol reunion may be one for the record books. 


April 2, 2018: Jan kicks off the 64th annual Oksol reunion. Jan, Dave, and Connor visited Flathead Lake in late March, early April. Jan sent a short video. See "photos."

The summer-long 63rd annual Oksol reunion was a spectacular success. See family visits to mom and dad's home in Flathead Lake in 2017.

The 64th Annual Oksol Reunion will begin March, 2018, and continue through October, 2018. Folks may want to start reserving their rooms now. Call Jan to reserve your room.

Not all rooms have a formal name yet, but these are the rooms:

• Craig's hunting lodge
• the Redlin master bedroom
• the Norwegian bedroom
• the Hispanic bedroom
• garage (no reservations required)

All rooms are smoke-free, and reserved on a first-reserved basis. The hunting lodge is a self-sufficient suite with microwave, fridge, and stove. (Not all appliances may be available in 2018.) BYOS (bring your own shotgun).

A chef will be available during some periods of the 64th Annual Reunion. Those dates are still being coordinated.

We ask that guests not bring pets unless they have interesting names like Tucker.

It is likely that reservations for August could be over-subscribed and one may want to reserve a room as soon as possible to minimize chances that  you will be staying in the Mayumi-Japanese garage.

Serena came out to the house on Thursday, October 12, 2017, to meet us while we were here. It was a great visit.

She explained the house to us, partial winterization, and full winterization. She will take care of all that.
